Holy Bible is our standard

As Christians, the Holy Bible is our standard for obedience. We should be careful of all manner of teachings going around that sounds pleasant to our ears and desires. Others are just mere logic or instructions of men that has no scriptural basis. Let's study the Holy Bible individually and stop being carried away by all manner of doctrines and teachings.

The Bible Our Standard

As Christians, the Holy Bible is our standard for obedience. We should be careful of all manner of teachings going around that sounds pleasant to our ears and desires. Others are just mere logic or instructions of men that has no scriptural basis. Let's study the Holy Bible individually and stop being carried away by all manner of doctrines and teachings.

How to LOVE JESUS

The way we can show we love God is to obey His command. His commands to us are all stated in the Holy Bible. The way to know the commands is to read the Bible by ourselves and not rely only on what someone else (teachers, pastors, prophets, parents, traditions, culture, experience, history, head-knowledge, etc.) tells us. The Holy Bible is His and our standard for obedience. Ref: John 14: 15, 21 15 "If you love me, keep my commands." 21 "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. God help us all to express our love for God by our obedience.

Winning God's approval

Studying the Word of God as individuals helps us to understand the Word and teach/explain it correctly. Ref: 2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to win full approval in God's sight, as a worker who is not ashamed of his work, one who correctly teaches the message of God's truth. (Good News Translation) "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (King James Version)

Be Blessed!

Be ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Ref: Philippians 4:6-7 New American Standard Bible
