In GOD We Live....

God’s commandments are to keep us within the sphere of protection and joy Whenever we break His commandment, we break the hedge of protection around us We give room for the serpent to creep into our territory; We get exposed to the danger of its bite, its sting, its venom! Pains, sorrow, ill-health, regrets, confusion, fear, abandonment, rejection, betrayal, depression and/or death sets in The goal of the devil is achieved; to kill, steal and destroy! God’s commandment are the expression of His love to us; to keep us safe! Obeying and living by God’s commandment is a calling to a life of Holiness A lot of times, we perceive it as burdensome or rigid The world makes us feel we are extremist when we obey Then they advise; A little tilting to the left or right will not harm, God understands that you are human You can’t be perfect, are you Jesus? Then we compromise! And are faced alone with the consequences of our misdeeds! Won’t you rather begin to see God’s commandment that it ...

At the start of a journey (business, career, family, relationship, etc.) Let God direct/instruct you at the outset And you keep going in the direction He is leading you When you meet with obstacles and challenges, You have two choices; Turn to God or Turn back on the way If you turn to God; He gives you grace to face and overcome the challenges or instructs you on what to do next, That way you have assurance in His guidance But if you choose to turn back, without God’s instruction You return to where you were without His assurance or a hope for what is next For without Him, you can do nothing Let your living, moving and being be in Him Therefore, endeavour to get the assurance of God’s guidance in all you do. Ref: John 1: 14-17 The Word became flesh (Jesus Christ). Dwelt among us (in the world) We have seen His glory. Glory as of the only son from the Father. He is full of grace and truth. From His fullness, we have all received grace upon grace. The laws were given through Moses. Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.

  The WORD - Giver of Life and Light! Ref: John 1:1-13 The Word was at the beginning. The Word was with God. The Word was God. All things were made through the Word. Without the Word nothing was made. In the Word was life. The Life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness. The darkness has not/cannot overcome it. John came to bear witness about the light. John’s witness - “The True light, which gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” The Word came into the world, He made (prepared, shaped, arranged, adjusted ...) the world The world did not know Him (didn’t recognize or accept Him) But to all who received and believed Him, He gave the Power (the right) to become children of God. Not Children born of blood, or the will of flesh, or will of man but of GOD!

The wonderful word on my mind this morning is GRACE. Grace... Ore Ofe! Grace is amazing... Amazing Grace! Grace is what lifts a man from the miry clay and sets his foot upon the Rock to Stand. Grace is what takes a life from Nothingness to Significance. Grace turns, ‘It is finished’ into Greatness! When you are at your wit’s end or crossroad; You have done everything humanly possible Intelligence, common sense, ideas, judgement, understanding perspectives, abilities, experience, etc. no longer yield results And it appears 'It is finished' and you also feel 'It's finished! You are at a point where you should look up... Don't look down or be downcast Look up for Grace; onto the Source of Grace That is why the Psalmist says; "I will look up to the hill, from whence comes my help!" Confess and act positively; “... There is lifting up!” Grace begins where human abilities end When you look up for Grace, Grace looks down on you; To energize you and set to ...

We search the Word of God (the HOLY BIBLE) for the TRUTH and share with each other to encourage, correct and edify (build our faith). We get to Know OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST more and more and grow in HIS LOVE UNTIL WE MEET HIM IN GLORY. AMEN!!!
