His Commandments; Our Code of Safety

God’s commandments are to keep us within the sphere of protection and joy
Whenever we break His commandment, we break the hedge of protection around us
We give room for the serpent to creep into our territory;
We get exposed to the danger of its bite, its sting, its venom!
Pains, sorrow, ill-health, regrets, confusion, fear, abandonment,
rejection, betrayal, depression and/or death sets in
The goal of the devil is achieved; to kill, steal and destroy!
God’s commandment are the expression of His love to us; to keep us safe!
Obeying and living by God’s commandment is a calling to a life of Holiness
A lot of times, we perceive it as burdensome or rigid
The world makes us feel we are extremist when we obey
Then they advise;
A little tilting to the left or right will not harm,
God understands that you are human
You can’t be perfect, are you Jesus?
Then we compromise!
And are faced alone with the consequences of our misdeeds!
Won’t you rather begin to see God’s commandment that it is for our good
That they are not burdensome; they are to keep us safe
They are the expression of His love to us
Until you begin to see God’s instruction as your code of safety
And as your ‘Personal code for Safe, Healthy & Wholesome living’
You’ll keep exposing yourself to danger... Yes, Danger, not Pleasure!
A life of Holiness is our Code of Conduct & Safety
Holiness is living a Safe, Healthy and Wholesome life in Christ and by His Grace!

It is very important and required of us to forgive others when they offend us. Yes, some offence can be so painful that we feel they cannot be forgiven. Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us. As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us. Do you feel you have not sinned? Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven? Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven? Let search God's Word together. The word of God below is an assurance that you can be forgiven; 1 John 1:8-10 New International Version If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him (God) out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

What are the consequences of LIES?
