Forgiving others

It is very important and required of us to forgive others when they offend us. Yes, some offence can be so painful that we feel they cannot be forgiven. We may even feel justified to hold people in unforgiveness because of the magnitude or sensitivity of their offence against us or even others. But what does our evenly father wants us to do? "To forgive everyone their offence." How easy is that? Yes, It is not always easy but it is possible by God's grace. Remember we can do all things (including forgiving) through Christ that strengthens us. We can start by willing to forgive and let go, ask God to help you, tell Him how pained you feel and how difficult it is to let go, be sincere about your feelings (He knows anyways) and then trust and depend on the grace of God going forward. Simply say "God help me" whenever the ill-feeling comes up. Do that each day until you are completely healed. Yes, healed. Forgiving is a healing process; you have been wounded, bruise...

Do you want forgiveness?

The keys to getting forgiveness; 1. Accept that you have sinned 2. Be ready not to continue in that sin, whatever it is and no matter how long you have been in it. 3. Mention the sin and ask for forgiveness genuinely through the Name of Jesus Christ. 4. Believe that you have been forgiven. 5. Thank God for the forgiveness you have received. 6. Go and sin no more. Flee from and/or resist sins. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us. As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us. Do you feel you have not sinned? Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven? Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven? Let search God's Word together. The word of God below is an assurance that you can be forgiven; 1 John 1:8-10 New International Version If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him (God) out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Heaven is real and Hell is real.

Heaven is real and Hell is real. Decide TODAY & NOW where you will spend eternity. The next moment might be too late.

This World ends ONE DAY

This World we are in will come to an end one day. JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK SOMEDAY SOON for his own; His believers and followers. We all need to be ready when HE COMES BACK.

Hour of Miracle

John 2:4 "Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me?  My hour has not yet come.”" Amplified Bible Inspiration Mind your business until God's hour is come for an individual. Don't be a judge over people's life or destiny. You don't know what stage God is on His agenda for their lives You don't understand the process they have to go through Don't get people out on stage before it's time for their own scene.

What are the consequences of LIES?

The following are the consequences of LIES... 1. Punishment await liars A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish. (Proverbs 19:9 ESV) 2. Lies leads to hell But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and ALL LIARS their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8 ESV) 3. Lies bring about shame and disgrace The righteous hates falsehood, but the wicked brings shame and disgrace. (Proverbs 13:5 ESV ) 4. Lies make us lose position as God's delight. Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. (Proverbs 12:22 ESV) 5. Lies shorten period of relevance or appreciation. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment. (Proverbs 12:19 ESV) 6. Lies relegates a man to a low status What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better tha...

What God says about LIES, LYING or LIARS?

The followings are what we all need to know of what God says about lies, lying and liars.... 1. lies is a character of the devil and when we lie, we portray ourselves as children of the devil. John 8:44 ESV (One who lies) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 2. When we lie we bear false witness. Proverbs 14:5 ESV A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies. Meanwhile, God has commanded us "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16) 3. It is a sign that our conscience is seared. That means we no longer feel bad when we do what is wrong. This is a dangerous state for a child of God. It leads to destruction 1 Timothy 4:2 ESV Through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are sear...

LIES -1

Lying by/among Christians (children of God, born again) has become so common and hardly frowned at any longer. We need to remind ourselves that lying is a sin and lying is of the devil. Anyone who lies belongs to the devil ; that is a child of the devil. John 8:44 (New International Version) You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Lying is lying and there is no measure or colour of lies; little lies, big lies, white lies, black lies whatsoever. When a person lies, he/she hopes it is never found out or exposed. The fear of being caught a liar creeps in and that leads to creating/telling more lies to cover up the initial one. Why do we lie? 1. To cover up or paint a wrong picture 2. Out of fear of being punished or facing the consequence of our actions/inactions ...

LIES

Why do Christians (born-again) lie;  to deceive or live hypocritical lives?

Adultery & Fornication - 5

The consequences & why we should abstain from them Ephesians 5:5 ESV For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is SEXUALLY IMMORAL or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Proverbs 6:32 ESV He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself. Acts 15:29 ESV That you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from SEXUAL IMMORALITY. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. .. Revelation 22:15 ESV Outside (God's kingdom) are the dogs and sorcerers and the SEXUALLY IMMORAL and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 1 Corinthians 6:9 ESV Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the SEXUAL IMMORALITY, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality... Galatians 5:19–21 Now the works of the flesh are evident: SE...

Fornication & Adultery - 4

God is bringing this subject because He wants us to repent. Because, no one involved in (either by teaching, encouraging or doing) SEXUAL IMMORALITY will inherit His kingdom; Revelation 2:14 ESV But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel [the Children of God, Christians], so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and PRACTICE SEXUAL IMMORALITY. Revelation 2:20 ESV But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 1 Corinthians 6:9 ESV Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the SEXUALLY IMMORAL, nor idolaters, nor ADULTERERS, nor men who practice HOMOSEXUALITY, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the ...

FORNICATION & ADULTERY - 3

For better understanding, let's get the simple and English meaning of Fornication & adultery; Fornication is consensual (voluntary) sexual intercourse between two people not married to each other. When one or more of the partners having consensual sexual intercourse is a married person, it is called adultery. Let's see what the bible says on this matter... Hebrews 13:4 (NASB) Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 ESV Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 7:2 ESV But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman h...

FORNICATION & ADULTERY - 2

As Christians, are we guided by God's standard or the world standard? I believe the RIGHT answer is still - God's Standard - the Word of God; The HOLY BIBLE. Has any part of the Word of God with respect to Adultery and Fornication changed? Has there been a modification to this commandment to us as children of God? Why and how did we allow ourselves to be blinded to the commandment and justify these sinful acts? When did we tend to becoming lovers of ourselves or the pleasers of the world than the lovers and pleasers of God? How did we allow the gift of men to become more important than the gift of God and His presence in our lives? How did we forget our covenant to God as singles or married that our body is His and we are His bride. That our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, where He dwells? Why do we choose to misappropriate the merit of Grace and we continue to indulge in these sinful acts, believing that grace abounds? Why do we find ourselves in these sins and we see n...

FORNICATION & ADULTERY - 1

Fornication and adultery used to be known as sins we have to avoid as CHRISTIANS but it is unfortunate that they have become so acceptable (including title bearers - Apostles, pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelists, etc.) The unmarried/singles no longer see anything wrong in having sex. Those intending to get married now believe their is nothing wrong in them having sex as long as they intend to get married to each other. The married (man with a wife and woman with a husband) also no longer see what is wrong in having sex with another man or woman aside their spouses. What makes it more alarming is the way these acts are being justified publicly or privately. How did we get to this point as CHRISTIANS?

FORNICATION and ADULTERY.

Dear brothers and sisters, there is an important topic that has been on my mind for months to discuss. I keep waving it aside and it looks like I am not able to wave it aside anymore. I observe a silent but deadly trend among christians today and we need to talk to ourselves seriously about them. They are the issues of FORNICATION and ADULTERY.

VICTORY ASSURED

2 Chronicles 20:17 NIV "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem (insert your names). Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow [today], and the Lord will be with you.’”
Happy New Week. Go in the might and grace of God and excel in Jesus Name.
