In GOD We Live....

REPENT Ezekiel 18:32 Good News Translation I do not want anyone to die," says the Sovereign LORD. "Turn away from your sins and live." That means when we REPENT; we ESCAPE DEATH.

To worship God "In the Spirit" signifies "in the Holy Spirit". Meaning when we worship God, we should worship in the Holy Spirit. That mean we should involve the Holy Spirit; to lead, direct and help us when we worship. James 4:3 New American Standard Bible YOU ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. Romans 8:26 For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the SPIRIT HIMSELF intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. If the Holy Spirit is not involved, YOU pray (by yourself) & pray amiss but when the HOLY SPIRIT prays with us, HE prays with us deeply and as we ought to. Therefore, we need to be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT to Worship right.

Worship is an act/attitude of reverence and submission to God. We can do that in prayer; which is an act of communication between us and God. Prayer entails - Singing praise or worship songs - Studying the Word og God - Speaking in tongues - Playing your musical instruments to reverence God - Supplication and Intercession - Any means that brings about our connection/conversation between us and God. When we Worship/connect to God; the requirement is that we do so in the Spirit and in truth.

  To Worship God in Truth means according to the Word of God. John 17:17 New International Version Sanctify them by the TRUTH; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH. This verse tells is that the WORD OF GOD is the TRUTH. Therefore, Worship by the Word of GOD. Pray, sing, intercede, request by the WORD of GOD. Any act of worship; in singing, interceding, instrumental, etc. that are contrary to THE TRUTH - THE WORD OF GOD becomes unacceptable because it done amiss! Therefore, let every form of our worship (reverence of) God - in songs, prayers, offering, gifting, sacrifice, interceding, etc be done in line with THE WORD OF GOD. To do this we must give ourselves to STUDYING OF THE WORD.

I sat 26th June 2020, this early morning and for a split moment my Bible page crossed my mind and the thought of what to place there today and I got the inspiration to share how I got baptized in the Holy Spirit. The special mark of my Christian walk and BORN AGAIN experience. That is one story I have not really fully shared; maybe in bits depending on the context of discussion.   Your Born Again experience cannot be exactly same as that of another person. God meets with each of us in diverse ways. The main thing is our ENCOUNTER WITH HIM that changes our lives till eternity by His grace.

Understand the TACTIC OF THE DEVIL to make us Sin... It is DECEIT. He deceives us to believe what is not true. Therefore, STOP BEING DECEIVED BY THE DEVIL. 1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of THE WORD, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation. That means, the WORD is for our SPIRITUAL GROWTH.

Understand that SIN.. breaking God's commands, puts us in judgment of DEATH. SIN disconnects us from God. Micah 3:4 Verse Concepts Then they will cry out to the Lord, But He will not answer them. Instead, He will hide His face from them at that time Because they have practiced evil deeds Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear Therefore, for us to reconnect back to God we need Christ.

You need to know there is a penalty for SIN. Romans 6:23a: For the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH. That means man (all beings) inherited DEATH as a result of SIN.

Acknowledge that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 English Standard Version (ESV) "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" That means, we all (including you & I) have sinned. So the first thing is to accept that 'you are a sinner'. Be sincere, think of the sins you commit both privately and publicly; in thoughts, actions and speeches. Don't let the devil paint any one... accept them as your SINS.

John 3:3, ESV: "Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” That means being born again is your preparation to see God in His Kingdom... Heaven. Therefore, to see God, you have to be BORN AGAIN

  2 Sam 22:32 For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? That means there is only ONE GOD. YES, the Almighty, the Most High and there is none like or compared on to Him

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his. name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. That means He is the one God sent to this sinful world to safe us all from our sins. So... He is our Saviour, Our Deliverer Our Redeemer
