What does it mean to Worship God in the Spirit and in truth? - 3

 To Worship God in Truth means according to the Word of God.

John 17:17
New International Version
Sanctify them by the TRUTH; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.
This verse tells is that the WORD OF GOD is the TRUTH.
Therefore, Worship by the Word of GOD. Pray, sing, intercede, request by the WORD of GOD.
Any act of worship; in singing, interceding, instrumental, etc. that are contrary to THE TRUTH - THE WORD OF GOD becomes unacceptable because it done amiss!
Therefore, let every form of our worship (reverence of) God - in songs, prayers, offering, gifting, sacrifice, interceding, etc be done in line with THE WORD OF GOD.
To do this we must give ourselves to STUDYING OF THE WORD.

Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us. As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us. Do you feel you have not sinned? Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven? Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven? Let search God's Word together.
