Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us.
As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us.

Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven?
Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven?
Let search God's Word together.
The word of God below is an assurance that you can be forgiven;
1 John 1:8-10 New International Version
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him (God) out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

It is very important and required of us to forgive others when they offend us. Yes, some offence can be so painful that we feel they cannot be forgiven. We may even feel justified to hold people in unforgiveness because of the magnitude or sensitivity of their offence against us or even others. But what does our evenly father wants us to do?
