Acknowledge that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 English Standard Version (ESV)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
That means, we all (including you & I) have sinned. So the first thing is to accept that 'you are a sinner'.
Be sincere, think of the sins you commit both privately and publicly; in thoughts, actions and speeches.
Don't let the devil paint any one... accept them as your SINS.

Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us. As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us. Do you feel you have not sinned? Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven? Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven? Let search God's Word together. The word of God below is an assurance that you can be forgiven; 1 John 1:8-10 New International Version If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
