FORNICATION & ADULTERY - 2
As Christians, are we guided by God's standard or the world standard? I believe the RIGHT answer is still - God's Standard - the Word of God; The HOLY BIBLE.
Has any part of the Word of God with respect to Adultery and Fornication changed?
Has there been a modification to this commandment to us as children of God?
Why and how did we allow ourselves to be blinded to the commandment and justify these sinful acts?
When did we tend to becoming lovers of ourselves or the pleasers of the world than the lovers and pleasers of God?
How did we allow the gift of men to become more important than the gift of God and His presence in our lives?
How did we forget our covenant to God as singles or married that our body is His and we are His bride. That our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, where He dwells?
Why do we choose to misappropriate the merit of Grace and we continue to indulge in these sinful acts, believing that grace abounds?
Why do we find ourselves in these sins and we see no reason to accept our shortcoming, confess to God and repent but we rather justify our actions?
No matter how we look at these acts and justify the them by our human reasoning, the standard of God remains the same.
Let's quickly go to the WORD and see where we stand on this matter....
