The LAW

1 Timothy 1:8 NIV
"We know that the law is good if one uses it properly"
The Law is put in place to keep human activities in check as we know it is everyone that is yet a child of God or led by the Spirit of God.
Therefore, the law is useful to guide, correct or reprimand; it is good and useful for the society to have orderliness.
So when we as children of God break the law, we face the consequences or penalty for breaking the law because at that point we have subjected ourselves to the law.
How will it now be said/seen after we have confessed or professed ourselves to be children of God that we are found falling short of the law. Such as breaking traffic rules, stealing, indulging in extra marital affairs, cheating, killings, falsification or forgery, scams, etc. The same things the Spirit of God tells us to depart from; which are also punishable by law.
When we can subject ourselves to a greater grace of obedience to the Holy Spirit and be found justified and appear as though perfect in an imperfect world.
Our prayer;
God access your grace to obey the Spirit and not be caught falling short/breaking of the law anymore in Jesus Name.

Forgiveness

When we do what is wrong, we need forgiveness to be set free of guilt and make peace with the one that we have offended. Same applies to when others offend us, we are to forgive them their offence against us. As humans, we think there are offences that are hard to forgive or cannot be forgiven but there is no offence too hard for God to forgive us, likewise God wants us to forgive anyone who offends us. Do you feel you have not sinned? Do you feel you have sinned and cannot be forgiven? Do you feel some has offended you and can never be forgiven? Let search God's Word together. The word of God below is an assurance that you can be forgiven; 1 John 1:8-10 New International Version If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
